The PC and Mac versions of its service will launch on June 17, 2010 during E3 2010.

The service will initially be available exclusively via OnLive's browser plugin, which will support virtually any PC or Mac.

The service requires a monthly subscription fee of $14.95. Discounted pricing plans (pay-in-advance) will be announced at the start of E3 2010. It is unclear what content, if any, this subscription fee provides you. Prices for purchasing and renting games have not yet been announced.

The first 25,000 "qualified," pre-registered gamers will receive the first 3 months of the service for free! onlive.com/special1

How do you feel about paying about $180/year for a service, BEFORE the cost of games, hardware, etc? It's certainly not something I'm looking forward to, but I'd be happy to drop both my Xbox Live and Netflix subscriptions.

I'm glad the service is free for early adopters... the lag is terrible!

Twitch games are entirely unplayable.
