The fact is, the link between DMHO and cancer HAS NOT YET BEEN ESTABLISHED.
YES THERE IS MASSIVE EVIDENCE, INCLUDING A NEARLY ONE TO ONE CORRELATION between DHMO exposure and clinical cases of Hodgkin's lymphoma, Leukemia, Ewing's tumor, chondrosarcoma, malignant melanoma, etc, etc, etc... but I still don't think its worth making a big fuss about (yet).
Cancer research has come a long way in the past decade, and with each new advancement, the role DHMO plays in the cause of cancer is likely to be better understood. We shouldn't bother to take action until THERE IS A KNOWN LINK.
Massive amounts of statistical data and sick kids shouldn't be the only basis for a nationwide ban. I hope all those kids get better though, my heart goes out to them.
One kid's clinical/psychological dependence on DHMO shouldn't bother anyone else anyway.
F that, I took DHMO pretty much daily all through high school and haven't experienced any side effects. I'd dose in the hallways, and at lunch, even sometimes in the locker room. Kept some in my backpack just in case I got a craving. It's a trip, and that's all I have to say about that. Be cool, stay in school.
